Many comic books take a long time to come up with and usually involve collaborations between many different people; however, the idea of The Conjuror was made within a couple days at the end of summer by two friends. Towards the end of the summer of 2016, as camp was reaching it's end, a friend of mine named Gavon Mitchell and I were talking and the conversation eventually got brought to our dream superpowers. I told him that I wish that everything I drew would become real. We soon expanded on that creating drawbacks to the power, a plot, and a storyline. We both are big picture thinkers who dislike cartoon logic so our ideas for the comic fit together like a puzzle. After the summer ended, I developed rough sketches of the main character and the comic be can to take form over the next few days in writing and sketches. Once school began, I transferred the thoughts into digital artwork and volume one was finished within a year. Once that school year and volume was over with, I showed Gavon the result of our discussions the previous summer when camp resumed. We soon began developing the plot for a sequel and volume two, like its predecessor began to take form. The one part we both struggled with was an ending. How would the main character remove his adversaries hold on himself. I showed him my ideas; however, none of them were logical. I was scrolling down my images one day during our free time to which he saw an early idea I had for a new book. We collaborated more and came to the conclusion that the third installment of the Conjuror series would also be the beginning of a spin off series to which that main character would provide the answer on how to solve the ending. We looked at the possibilities on which directions this move would take and it could not go wrong.
